We accept both adults and children for treatment under the NHS but, as the practice has a relatively small NHS contract, we have to carefully monitor our NHS capacity. Our Practice is currently an accredited post-graduate training surgery.
The NHS charges for treatment are currently set within three fixed price bands, Band 1, Band 2 and Band 3. The charges incurred and the treatment available within each band are shown below to help you make sense of your NHS charges.
BAND 1 This covers simple dental procedures such as examinations and X-rays and the charge for treatment within this band is £15-90.
BAND 2 This covers more complex treatment such as fillings, extractions and root canal treatment. The charge for treatmetn within this band is £43-60.
BAND 3 This covers the most complex treatments such as crowns, bridges, dentures etc. The cost for treatments within this band is set at £194-00.
Please note that the prices shown above are not set by the Practice. They are charges set under national criteria and, as such, may be subject to change at little or no notice. We are sorry for any inconvenience but we hope you will understand that such changes are not made by Ripley Dental Practice.
